Q: How can I get a house or a plot allotted from TUDA?A. From time to time TUDA invite applications for allotment of houses and plots through advertisements published in leading newspapers. These advertisements spell out the location, number, sizes and prices of the plots/ houses. Detailed information regarding the scheme is contained in the printed brochures. Brochure can be obtained from the nodal Bank or with the concerned Estate Office. The brochure also contains the application form. Applications are received along with application fee in the branches of designated bank. In case number of applications received is more than the number of houses/ plots, allotment is made through draw of lots. The draw of lots is held before the public after giving proper advertisement in the news papers. Final result of the draws also published in the news papers and displayed at the Notice Board of Estate Office as well as Head Office. Q: What is the application fee for allotment of plots and houses?A. The application fee is usually 10% of the priceof the plot/ house. However application fee can vary depending upon the nature of a particular scheme.
Q: How long does this application fee remain with TUDA?A. The application fee is normally refunded within 90 days of the draw to the unsuccessful applicants. The applicants whose earnest money is not refunded within 90 days from the date of draw (total 180 days from the date of closing of scheme) the interest @ 5.5% per annum is payable from 181 days onwards.
